How To Make Care Packages For Your Soldier
When preparing a care package for your loved one serving in the armed forces, here are a few tips, to sending a care package that will be appreciated. Send a handwritten cheerful card. Even if you don’t write a novel, it’s more thoughtful then a typed letter. Soldiers in a war zone, will appreciate receiving the basics, which can be hard to come by and or, it takes forever for them to get the very basic necessities there. Food items that you know the person would like is great. However if you are sending any canned goods, make sure you put a can opener in the box, don’t assume that one may be available at the exact moment your box arrives. Do not send any home baked goods, they do not hold up during the mail process. If you are sending any products, you should never send generic anything. Name brand items are better. School supplies, i.e. notebooks, pens, pencils, are in general not needed. Unless someone specifically requested them. If you send any type of clothing, stick to the basics, socks, underwear, is always needed, small hand towels as well. Any and all personal hygiene products goes a long way.
